Corn Sheller Machinery

Corn thresher is a mechanical device for threshing corn cobs, mostly axial flow drum type, but also vertical threshing disc type. It mainly consists of drum, concave plate, sieve, fan, feeding hopper, seed sliding plate, spiral guide bar, etc. It adopts the axial flow threshing device that tangentially feeds the axial end of the cob discharge shaft. The process is as follows: the corn cob enters the drum through the feeding hopper, and is threshed under the impact of the high-speed rotating drum and the interaction of the corn cob, drum and concave plate. Most of the threshed kernels and fine miscellaneous materials pass through the holes of the concave plate, and are cleared by the fan for airflow. Light miscellaneous materials are blown out from the debris discharge port, and the kernels are slid out of the machine by the kernel sliding plate. Spike shaft moves backward along the drum axis, and is discharged out of the machine through the vibrating sieve surface from the exit of the shaft end, and part of the seeds entrapped in the spike shaft leaks down through the sieve holes and enters the seed sliding plate to slide out of the machine.
