Introduction of Horizontal Ribbon Mixer
Horizontal mixer, also known as a ribbon mixer, can continuously and thoroughly mix and stir materials. It is widely used in the mixing of organic compound fertilizer, compost, potting soil, animal feed, dry powder, putty, and other materials.
The shaft seals at both ends adopt special seals to avoid material leakage and are easy to replace. It occupies a small area and has high working efficiency. It is a practical and widely applicable mixing equipment.
Horizontal mixers are widely used in chemical, compost, compound fertilizer, dyes, pigments, rubber, building materials, food, milk powder, health products, feed, additives, aquaculture, ceramics, refractory materials, rare earth, plastics and other industries.
Working Process of Horizontal Ribbon Mixer
Before the mixer works, prepare the raw materials to be mixed, which can be powder, granular or liquid. Put the prepared materials into the mixer through the feed port. Depending on the design of the equipment, a manual or automatic feeding system may be used.
After the mixer is started, the internal ribbon mixer begins to rotate, generating strong shear force, causing the material to move up and down and left and right in the tank, forming a circular flow. The material is constantly turned under the action of the mixer to ensure that the ingredients are fully mixed and evenly mixed.
During the mixing process, the operator can monitor the mixing state and adjust the speed or mixing time if necessary to ensure the desired mixing uniformity.
When the mixing time reaches the preset value, stop the rotation of the mixer. Discharge the evenly mixed material through the discharge port.
