Sodium tripolyphosphate (stpp) classification code GBl5.003 INS451 (I).Chemical structure: this product is a kind of amorphous water-soluble linear polyphosphate, terminated by Na2 PO4 at both ends, chemical formula Na5P3 O10, relative molecular weight 367.86.Commonly used in food, as a water retention agent, quality improver, pH regulator, metal chelator. Application Area Industrial grade: 1.STPP used in detergent as assistant agent; 2.STPP as synergist for soap; 3.STPP serves as water softener; 4.STPP is an anning agent for leather making; 5.STPP being an auxiliary for dyeing; 6.STPPas an effective dispersion agent for suspension solutions of coatings, kaolin, magnesium oxide, calcium carbonate and drilling mud. 7.STPP also is an oil contamination resistance agent in paper production. Food grade: 1.It's used as quality improver in the process of canned food, fruit juice drinks, foodstuffs from milk or soybeans; 2.STPP may tender the meat in canned ham and soften the skin of horse bean in canned horse bean; 3.STPP also serves as a softener or densifier in foodstuff industry.
