Background
In 1928, Professor Dr. Toshiyuki Hara A.C. from Japan introduced Electric Potential Therapy. Japanese Ministry of Health has recognized EPT as a medical device since 1968.
Therapy Principle
EPT surrounds the human body with an electric field that is similar to the body's natural electric field. Human body is made up of cells with cell membrane acting like a capacitor. Negative current is present inside all normal cells while positive current is present outside of the cell membrane, resulting in a cell membrane potential.
When negative potential instantly infuses body, it will increase negative potential within the body to counteract the positive ions, which in excessive quantities are detrimental to human health.
