The HW NetEngine40E Universal Service Router (NE40E) is a HW highend network product. It is deployed at the edge of IP backbone networks, IP metropolitan area networks (MANs), and other large-scale IP networks. The device works with core routers to provide a complete and hierarchical IP network solution.
The NE40E runs on the Versatile Routing Platform (VRP) operating system developed by HW and uses the hardware-based forwarding and non-blocking data switching technology.
