Alkaline battery production industry in China for more than 20years,some chinese alkaline batteries manufactuers through the acquisition of equipment,recipes to improve,improvement and increase of production,training of technical innovation,technology,aotonomous product development ,their quality of alkaline batteries can reach the level of famous brand,and even some of the performance is beyond.Here i briefly introduce the diffrence between Chinese high quality alkaline batteries and the general alkaline batteries:
1,Surface:
High quality alkaline battery must be with aluminium foil,rather than PVC.
Look at the steel shell,high-quality steel shell clean and good gloss.
Storage stability:High quality alkaline battery's shelf life will be 5 years.For general alkaline battery,only 1-2 years.After one year,the electrical performance of the high quality will decreased by 5-10%,whilie the nomal alkaline battery will dereased 10-20%.
Liquid leakage rate:high quality alkaline battery will be in the 20PPM;General alkaline battery will be around 300PPM.
2,Weight of alkaline battery:
For high quality alkaline battery,such as LR6 AA,weight should be 23gram-25gram.But for inferior alkaline battery LR6 AA,only less than 23gram.
Do you know why?Beacause the proportion of manganese ring inside alkaline battery is very large.High quality alkaline batteries should have three manganese ring.Some chinese manufacturers just put two manganese ring into in order to save costs.So the overall weight of the battery must be less than 23 grams,which will directly lead to the discharge performance is greatly reduced.
3,Discharge performance:For high quality alkaline battery,start voltage should be 1.55V-1.65V(Note:If you fine start voltage is more than 1.68V,do not be happy,maybe it is cheap carbon batteries,but with the lable of alkaline battery);Discharge time of high quality LR03 AAA alkaline battery should be up to 8.5hours(10 Ohm,24hours/days,End voltage:0.9V);LR6 AA should be up to 19hours(Same discharge condition).And over discharge to 0.6V without leak.High quality alkaline batteries can be used in the temperature from -10 degree to 60 degree.
4,Raw material and Production equipment:
For high quality alkaline battery,raw material is very important.Such as Zinc powder(Belgium,Some area from China),diaphragm paper(Japan,Taiwan),Steel shell(Japan,some area from China).Cost is relatively high,but the purity is very high,it will reduce the self discharge rate.But also used seal leak proof and explosion proof,reduce the leakage to prevent explosion of alkaline battery.And high speed production equipment is import from Canada(Hoi Pa production line).Strictly produce according to the production precess,reduce the error of manual operation.
5,Certification:Excellent alkaline battery manufacturers are generally through the authority of certification,such as ROHS,CE.
