Magnesium is a silver-white light metal that looks very similar to aluminum, but is harder and lighter than aluminum. The density of magnesium metal (1.74 g/cm 3) is only two-thirds that of aluminum (2.7 g/cm 3). Product Use
The main use of the metal magnesium is to make alloys. For example, the ordinary aluminum alloy is 1% to 15% magnesium alloy, it is hard, light, smooth surface, often used in the production of door and window frames and various daily necessities. Aluminum magnesium alloy containing 5% to 30% magnesium is an ideal metal material for manufacturing automobiles and aircraft, so some people call magnesium "defense metal".
