1. Tungsten carbide particles: The broken raw material tungsten carbide with double-grain structure has high wear resistance, and we only use the highest grade tungsten carbide as the raw material of the knife tip.
2. Steel body: In SKYMECH, we use 42crmo alloy steel, one of the highest grade steel materials. It has a hardness of up to 42-55 HRC, which provides strength to the tungsten carbide tip.
3. Hard surface: CR-W has excellent wear resistance and impact resistance. We use special CR-W or chrome to make a wear-resistant welding layer on the tool surface, and the hardness can reach 55hrc-60hrc.

Product Parameters

Wide block tips are the most commonly used in the industry, finding applications in various scenarios such as land clearing, regrind, pallets, compost, and green waste. These tips can be flipped for extended usage.
In terms of standard grinder tip styles, Abrasion-resistant (A/R) tips are ideal for processing highly abrasive materials, featuring a flat face design infused with tungsten carbide crystals. They are well-suited for applications involving sand, dirt, and other abrasive substances, and can also be flipped for prolonged life.
For impact-resistant tips (I/R), these provide an alternative to winn tins and are suitable for processing large-diameter materials. Their hard carbide inserts make them less suitable for situations involving contamination or rocks. Similar to A/R tips, I/R tips can be flipped for extended usage.
Narrow block tips, available only in the standard configuration, are designed for tub grinders and select horizontal grinders. With carbide overlays along the sides, they offer an effective solution for processing large-diameter wood material and can be flipped for extended life.
Sharp tips are precision-designed for cutting and are commonly used on large-diameter wood to maximize production with minimal fines. Due to their sharp leading edge, they are not recommended for use in high-contamination environments, but like other tips, they can be flipped for extended longevity.
