The cashew nut shelling machine is mainly composed of a transmission device, a feeding device, a pushing device and a cutting device. First, the cashews are placed in the feeding unit. The following is the workflow of a cashew nut shelling machine. Raw material screening and preparation: The harvested cashew nuts are preliminarily screened to remove impurities, bad fruits and fruits that are too large or too small. Ensure that the size of the cashew nuts entering the hulling machine is relatively uniform to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of hulling.
Feeding: The screened cashew nuts are conveyed to the feed port of the shelling machine through manual or automatic feeding devices, and enter the shelling machine evenly and stably.
Shelling: Inside the shelling machine, there are mainly extrusion, shear, impact and other shelling methods. In the case of the extrusion type, for example, the cashew nut enters between two rollers that rotate in opposite directions and have an adjustable gap, and as the roller rotates, the cashew nut is squeezed and the shell breaks.
Shell kernel separation: The mixture of cashew kernel and shell after hulling enters the separation device. Taking advantage of the difference in specific gravity, the lighter husks are blown away and the heavier kernels fall by winnowing, with the help of the airflow generated by the fan. The screening method can also be used to separate the kernel from the crushed shell by using screens with different pore sizes.
Kernel collection and packaging: The separated cashew kernels are collected by the collection device, and then manually inspected to pick out cashew nuts or impurities that have not been removed from the shell. Qualified cashew kernels are packaged according to specifications and enter the market circulation.
