How to use PTFE thread seal tape?1. Begin by removing any foreign particles from the connecting parts to maintain cleanliness and ensure optimal performance.2. Pay close attention to the wrapping direction for best results. For instance, when installing an angle valve into the wall's inner thread, turn it clockwise to the right. Wrap the PTFE tape counterclockwise to the left, ensuring a tighter bond as the valve is screwed, preventing loosening.3. When wrapping the PTFE thread seal tape, firmly tighten it around the thread to achieve a snug fit. Ensure it adheres closely to the threading, and after wrapping, press and rotate it firmly using your hands. This ensures the tape holds tightly in place.4. The number of wrapping layers is flexible; however, it should be sufficient to prevent leaks. Practically, wrapping it more than ten times is often necessary to guarantee a robust sealing effect.5. When tightening the thread, avoid excessive force. A gentle yet firm hand is sufficient to prevent leakage, ensuring the joint feels secure without over-tightening.
