There are many types of gypsum boards, such as paper-faced gypsum board, non-paper-faced gypsum board, glass fiber felt-faced gypsum board, decorative gypsum board, and gypsum sound-absorbing board, etc.
Among them, paper-faced gypsum board is widely used and well-known for its high cost-effectiveness. It is a lightweight board made of gypsum slurry as the core and paper as the protective surface on both sides. Paper-faced gypsum board is lightweight, high in strength, fire-resistant, insect-resistant, and easy to process. It is commonly used for interior walls, partition walls, and ceilings. Gypsum Boards Categories Paper-faced gypsum boards are generally classified into four main categories:
