When temperatures drop, rubber and plastic parts harden, becoming brittle and crystallized, which strips them of flexibility. At this brittle temperature, they break effortlessly under external force. The flash on molded products is thinner and becomes brittle faster in low temperatures. The cryogenic deflashing machine harnesses this principle. It operates precisely when the flash is brittle, yet the products retain their flexibility. High-speed projected special plastic media deftly strike and clear the brittle flash, effectively removing it without compromising the product.
