What Is The Difference Between Clear Glass And Ultra Clear Glass? The difference between clear float glass and ultra clear float glass is that clear glass has a higher iron content, so it has a slightly greenish appearance that is particularly visible when looking at the edges of the glass. When we reduce the iron content, we get ultra clear glass with a beautiful light-blue edge and more neutral color.
