Chemical Property/Description
Color properties: light yellow crystalline powder. Sensitive to wet air and light. Insoluble in water. Insoluble in benzene, propyl alcohol and ethanol. Melting point: 172 ~ 175ºC.
Main Uses:
1. Used as a chromogenic agent for spectrophotometric determination of trace .
2. For the photometric determination of antimony. Combined with Fe2+, NO is detected in brain, kidney, liver and other tissues, while NO and pO2 are directly measured.
3. As a chelating agent of copper, it is also used for quantitative analysis of copper in biological materials by ESR.
4. Inhibitor of superoxide dismutase, ascorbate oxidase and other enzymes. Inhibition of macrophage NO synthetase.
NO in brain, kidney, liver and other tissues can be detected by Fe2+ linked spin capture. It has been reported that excited NO* and pO2 can be directly determined simultaneously. As a chelating agent of copper, ESR can be used to quantitatively analyze copper in biological materials. It is also an inhibitor of superoxide dismutase and ascorbate oxidase and other enzymes; Reagent for the determination of content (National Standard New method).
