Product Description High Carbon Ferrochromium (containing carbon 4 ~ 8%) , medium carbon ferrochromium (containing carbon 0.5 ~ 4%) , low carbon ferrochromium (containing carbon 0.15 ~ 0.50%) , low carbon ferrochromium (containing carbon 0.06%) , ultra-low carbon ferrochromium (containing carbon less than 0.03%) , metal chromium, silicon chromium alloy, ferrochromium: a ferroalloy of chromium and iron; an important alloy additive in steelmaking. The chromite ore for smelting chromite should contain CR2O340 ~ 50% , and the ratio of chromium to iron should be more than 2.8. In recent years, a large amount of"Charge grade ferrochromium" containing 50% CR has been produced, and ores containing low CR _ 2O _ 3 and CR/Fe ratio have been used.
According to different carbon content, ferrochromium can be divided into high-carbon ferrochromium, including loading grade ferrochromium (C ≤10%) , medium-carbon ferrochromium (c ≤4.0%) , low-carbon ferrochromium (c ≤0.5%) , and low-carbon ferrochromium (c ≤0.15%) . Ferrochromium is mainly used as an alloy additive in steel-making, which was added in the later stage of steel-making refining. It is necessary to use low-carbon and micro-carbon ferrochromium in smelting low-carbon steel such as stainless steel.
