The vibrating pile hammer uses high-frequency vibrations to vibrate the pile body with high acceleration. This vertical vibration alters the soil structure around the pile, reducing its strength. The surrounding soil liquefies, decreasing frictional resistance between the pile and soil. The excavator's down force, combined with the vibrating pile hammer and the pile's weight, drives the pile into the ground. For extraction, the vibration condition allows the excavator's lift force to pull out the pile. The excitation force required for pile driving is determined by site soil, soil condition, moisture content, type of pile, and construction circumstances.
