* Lysine is one of the most important essential amino acids in animals. It has two amino, one of which is connected to the ε-carbon atom, so it is basic amino acid and has some special properties. It is the first limiting amino acid in pigs and the second limiting amino acid in poultry.* When sufficient lysine is added to feed, the protein level of feed can be appropriately reduced. It is beneficial to transform body protein into more muscle protein and improve lean meat rate and slaughter rate of livestock and poultry carcass.* There was antagonism between lysine and arginine, and when the proportion was appropriate (lysine should not be 20% higher than arginine), livestock and poultry could achieve the best performance. The availability was mainly affected by feed anti-nutrient factors and processing methods.* Lysine plays an important role in the process of the body's metabolism, which are necessary to fish and inadequate amounts of restrictive amino acid in plant protein.
