Pultruded grating is a unidirectional structure and being an assembled product, allows for larger panel sizes for better utilization.Load Bars: Pultruded grates are constructed of a series of independent load bars with either an "I" or "T" profile. "I" bars are typically used for industrial applications having a higher load capability"T" bars are typically used for pedestrian applications having a wider walking surface.Open area between the load bars can be as high as 60% or as small as 12% depending on your application and loading.Resin Systems: available in two resin formulations both containing a fire retardant that offers an ASTM-E84 flame spread rating of 25 or less.
